Near Selva di Fasano, Apulia, Italy

Three trulli sleeping a total of 6 guests, with private garden

This charmingly restored set of three trulli are found nestled in their own two acre grounds in countryside dotted with other trulli and traditional country properties in one of Apulia's most enchanting areas, Selva di Fasano.

The property has been thoughtfully transformed into a modern and stylish holiday property which can be let as three individual apartments, each with their own kitchen and bathroom facilities, or as a single holiday property, ideal for a family with older children or a group of friends or couples.

Each apartment has its own bathroom and shower and kitchen corner and double bedroom, with the larger of the three apartments having a larger kitchen and a large sofa bed or two beds on request for another couple or two children.

Other facilities include lots of outdoor dining space, a barbecue and shaded gazebos, as well as a roof terrace accessed by external stairs only suitable for adults and normally adorned with plant pots.

Each apartment also has a television and kitchen corner with gas hobs, fridge freezer and microwave.

The surrounding area is one of the most beautiful in Apulia, with ancient forest set on a high plateau overlooking Fasano and the Adriatic Coast beyond. Ancient olive groves stretch down to the coast and the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea.

Fasano is an interesting historical town just 3km from the property, which dates back to the eleventh century and takes its name from the original hamlet of Santa Maria de Fajano.

It's population is involved maninly in olive and wine production and tourism and the town itself is well worth a visit.

The central square is dedicated to a local poet called Ignazio Ciaia and the town hall was built on the site of a previous fortified residence. Various eighteenth century residences as well as an elegant clocktower and its proximity to the sea give the little town a welcoming atmosphere.

Nearby are the spas of the Torre Canne and the important archaeological site of Egnathia. There is also a wildlife safari park, much visited in the summer months.

Other towns in the vicinity include Martina Franca, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino and the white city of Ostuni.
