Near Santa Vittoria, Marche, Italy

Well restored villa divided into five apartments, sleeping a total of 14 guests, with large swimming pool

Relaxation, peace and tranquility is the theme at this pretty Marche farmhouse found in the lush rolling hills of central Marche and within easy reach of the golden sandy beaches of the Adriatic.

Casa Ettore is close to the hilltop towns of Santa Vittoria and Montelparo, offering a choice of bars, restaurants and shops.

Also at Casa Ettore is an occasional small family-run restaurant for the exclusive use of the guests, providing traditional local dishes prepared using local produce.

Just a couple of miles from the house La Ginestra Country House Hotel offers tennis lessons in its four tennis courts, a very impressive crazy golf course for the children, restaurant and bar.

Nearby is the village of Montottone, home of the famous Bozzi Pottery, with handmade pots and crockery made to ancient designs.

And the towns of Fermo, Offida, Ascoli Piceno and Amandola are all within easy driving distance and each offers something unique - Fermo's dominating cathedral and art gallery (which has one of the few paintings by Rubens in Italy), Ascoli Piceno's central piazza made entirely of marble, Offida's lace-making tradition and Amandola, the gateway to the mountains with its amazing views.

An abundance of other historic hilltop towns are also close by, many with their own town festivals and sagras.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS

Five apartments sleep between 2 and 4 guests each all with independent access but intercommunicating should larger groups wish to share. All apartments have their own kitchen corner and bathrooms. The attic and barn apartments also have air conditioning.

In total there are seven bedrooms (arranged as four doubles and three twins but flexible) and seven bathrooms each with shower. There are also sofa beds and plenty of space to add extra beds if necessary.

The property can be rented in its entirety and has a large well equipped downstairs professional kitchen used by the owners to prepare delicious meals for guests. The kitchen is also available for use by guests although each apartment also has its own kitchen.

There is also a chill out room with playstation for the children. A communal laptop is provided and broadband wifi is available. There is a 40 inch screen TV.

Ping pong and table football can be found underneath the loggia next to the gated pool along with plenty of seating and an outhouse has been converted into a pleasant communal bar area.

Local organic wines are available and the owners also have an orchard from which they provide guests with their own fruit.
