Delightfully located agriturismo with five double B&B rooms a 12x6m pool and stunning panoramic views
This Marche agriturismo is one of the few that can really call itself organic.
All the red and white wine produced on the farm is completely organic and very good and much of the food is produced in the surrounding garden and fields, especially the vegetables.
Eating at the restaurant here is a real pleasure, the menu is fixed but varies according to what is available and in season, from wonderful lamb and pork and beef cooked or grilled to perfection, to a wide range of vegetables and fruit.
The restaurant is available to guests whenever they like and also opens to local clients at the weekend and for special occasions.
Four of the bedrooms are found on the first floor in the main converted farm building and the fifth double bedroom is on the ground floor. They are all en suite and clean and comfortable.
The towns of Monte San Pietrangeli and Monte San Giusto are close by and the Adriatic Coast is just 15 minutes drive away.
The organically run farm also has several horses and the owner is happy to take guests out for short or longer rides.
The local towns of Montegranaro and Monte San Giusto are at the centre of the Italian shoe making industry and all the latest shoes can be found at factory outlet prices.
The Adriatic Coast with its choice of pebble and sandy beaches is just a short drive, with the towns of Porto Sant'Elpidio, Civitanova Marche and Porto San Giorgio providing miles of beaches and lots of great seafood in the beach chalets and restaurants.
This area of Le Marche boasts some of Italy's most picturesque scenery, with rolling hills covered in sunflowers, vineyards and wheat fields and punctuated by river valleys carrying the waters which flow down from the nearby Apennine mountains to the sea.
You can enjoy these views from your table at Enrico's restaurant, where you can eat outside or indoors or from the sun loungers and seating by the pool and chalet bar..
In the summer months fairs, festas and festivals are in constant competition around the local towns so keep an eye out for street banners in each town and village, announcing their special culinary delights and when to savour them.
There are many museums and galleries in the area and with famous painters such as Rafael and Crivelli in prominence. And evening summer markets abound.
