Exquisitely restored 19th century listed countryhouse with four apartments sleeping from two to five guests, with discreetly enclosed swimming pool (12x6m)

This elegantly restored country house provides the perfect space for a relaxing holiday for couples and small families, with a dash of luxury and is air-conditioned throughout.

The property is a real gem, providing as it does a touch of luxury, with all four apartments thoughtfully furnished, fully equipped and air-conditioned and surrounded by immaculate and extensive gardens.

The peaceful surroundings, manicured lawns and colourful flowerbeds, and the ample space to relax and admire the stunning scenery are all the more prized for their unlikely proximity to the lovely hilltop town of Mogliano, just fifteen minutes walk away. To be so close to a picturesque town yet to be surrounded by countryside and stunning views is rare even in Marche, where the most prized villas tend to be a good two or three miles from the nearest town.

That proximity means a choice of nice restaurants on your doorstep and the pleasure of going to collect the bread on a morning stroll, or taking in a coffee and enjoying the surroundings and the traditional customs which still profoundly influence the "entroterra" of Le Marche and Mogliano in particular.

This proud brick built and grand country house is set in beautiful countryside but it is also perfectly located to enjoy all Marche has to offer. Its central location means easy access to the Adriatic Coast and the dozens of resorts and hundreds of fine seafood restaurants to be found there.

Yet the town and the villa is also within simple striking distance of the spellbindingly beautiful and unspoilt Sibillini Mountains, home to an abundance of trails and full of the history of this charmed region of Italy. Attentive walkers may also be lucky enough to catch site of the golden eagle, the wild boar and chamoix, or even the lightfooted and shy Apennine wolf. And expert guides are on hand to accompany walkers on request.

Marche is full of history with many museums and galleries to be found in the small towns dotted around this understated but stunning part of Italy.

Guests should also take advantage of the wine tasting offered at La Murola Cantina, the local vineyard just five minutes from the property.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS

Shorter stays and mid-week arrivals considered subject to availability.

Apartment Girasole (sleeps 4/5, wheelchair accessible) is situated on the ground floor and is fully air-conditioned throughout.

There is a large open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area offering 2 comfortable leather sofas, LCD TV, DVD player and MP3 docking station. There is a large dining table and the kitchen is fully equipped including 4 ring gas hob, microwave oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher.

There are two spacious bedrooms with many original features, one with a kingsize bed and one with twin beds. There is one bathroom (shower), again with original features. There is also ample space for an additional single bed for a fifth guest if required and the apartment also has its own private garden.

Apartment Tulipano (sleeps 2/4) is situated on the first floor and is fully air-conditioned throughout. The apartment has high chestnut beamed ceilings and lovely countryside views to the rear of the property.

The lounge has a large comfortable leather sofabed, LCD TV, DVD player and MP3 docking station, and is separated from the kitchen and dining area by a beautiful brick archway. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes 4 ring gas hob, microwave oven and fridge with ice compartment.

There is one bedroom with twin beds which can be converted into a queensize bed and one bathroom with shower

There is an additional mattress for the sofabed to ensure total comfort for extra guests.

Apartment Lavanda (sleeps 2/4) is situated on the second floor and is fully air-conditioned throughout. The apartment is a large loft conversion with chestnut beamed ceilings offering fantastic south facing views of the pool, gardens and surrounding countryside.

The large lounge/dining area has a comfortable leather sofabed, LCD, DVD player and MP3 docking station. The separate kitchen is fully equipped and includes 4 ring electric hob, microwave oven and fridge with ice compartment.

There is one bedroom with kingsize bed and large bathroom with shower. There is an additional mattress for the sofabed to ensure total comfort or alternatively there are two occasional beds that can be used in the lounge area without restricting space. Double air con units mean a slightly higher rental charge in this apartment.

Apartment Papavero (sleeps 2) is situated on the first floor and is fully air-conditioned throughout. The apartment has beautiful south facing views of the pool, gardens and surrounding countryside.

There is an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area with comfortable leather sofa, LCD TV, DVD player and MP3 docking station. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes 4 ring gas hob, microwave oven and fridge with ice compartment.

There is one bedroom with a kingsize bed and one bathroom with a large shower and feature ceiling.

A small extra occupancy fee for the one bedroom apartments is charged at £25 per person per week.
