A majestic place where everything is on a grand scale, Casa Adriana is the perfect setting for a large group or extended families and friends. Luxury surrounds you in this elegant holiday villa, which is on a hill between the sea and the mountains of northern Marche.
The building is surrounded by a well manicured park and dominates the entire Metauro Valley, down to the seaside resort town of Fano, a few minutes drive away.
An enchanting view of the valley below greets guests to the this historic and wonderful place, which has been painstakingly restored to its original condition but also provides all the modern comforts.
The surrounding valley is a pretty patchwork of vineyards, olive groves and Villa Furlo is a great starting point for many different local activities, from truffle hunting to wine tasting.
Fano is an alluring seaside resort offering both sand and pebble beaches, as well as being a working fishing port. It is also home to an important jazz festival in July and stages an international piano competition. And the town was also important in Roman times, being the point where the Roman road Via Flaminia joined the Adriatic coast.
For lovers of art and culture the towns of Urbino, Pesaro, Gradara and Mondavio are all within easy reach. In fact all the towns in the area are rich in history and offer a range of cultural and gastronomic events which ensure that local traditions are maintained.
On the ground floor:
Bedroom One has one double and one single bed (or alternatively three single beds on request), en suite bathroom with shower, loo, bidet, wash basin and hair dryer. The bedroom has a television and patio door to the garden.
Bedroom Two has one double bed (additional two single beds on request), en suite disabled access bathroom with shower, loo,bidet, wash basin and hair dryer. The bedroom has a television.
The spacious downstairs kitchen opens onto the garden and pool and is equipped with fridge, freezer, electric oven, hobs, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, caffettiere, dishes, pots and pans, internal and external dining space and washing machine and clothes horse in the outhouse.
Very large living room with fireplace and sofas and a large hall with table and bench, games table and glass showcase. Large veranda with outdoor furniture and access to the furnished patio and garden.
On the first floor:
Bedroom Three has one double bed (or two single beds on request), television and bathroom with bath, loo, washbasin and hair dryer.
Bedroom Four has one double bed (additional single bed on request), television and bathroom with shower, loo, bidet, washbasin and hair dryer.
Bedroom Five has one double bed with a mezzanine split level with up to three single beds and a sofa, television, bathroom with shower, loo, bidet, washbasin and hair dryer.
Bedroom Six has one double bed, wrought iron sofabed (additional single bed on request), television and bathroom with shower, loo, bidet, washbasin and hair dryer.
Bedroom Seven has one double bed (additional single bed on request), television and bathroom with shower, loo, bidet, washbasin and hair dryer.
Bedroom Eight has one double bed, television and bathroom with shower, loo, bidet, washbasin and hair dryer.
Bedroom Nine has one double bed, television and bathroom with shower, loo, bidet, washbasin and hair dryer.
The property has air conditioning throughout.
The one bedroom cottage is situated close to the main house and pool and can sleep up to three guests. It is spacious and open plan with two large glass slider doors that open onto the private terrace, furnished with sunbeds, table and chairs.
The kitchen/living area has two electric rings, fridge, dining table and chairs and television.
The bedroom has a double bed with space for an additional single bed on request and bathroom with shower, loo, bidet, washbasin and hair dryer.
